¶ 1. General instruction
Each member of the Razor Alliance needs to register to our Razor authentication service.
With our authentication service we manage access to our services, like Discord and Mumble.
We also use this tool for tracking Structures, SOV timers, Moon mining, ratting taxes, etc.
¶ 1.1 Login with your Main Account
Each member should login with their main EVE account to:
Once you logged in with your EVE Account (Don’t worry your account details like username and password,
is only authenticate via CCP EVE API, we don’t hold or keep any of your details)
Please make sure that you login with you main character, don't login in with an alt, you can add them later, please see below.
¶ 1.2 Register all your Eve characters
To keep track of all our members we require that all EVE characters in Razor are registered with our tool.
Please add all your EVE characters + your main , by clicking the “Login” button, on the CharLink page
¶ 2. Register for the Services
In the service section you can register for our Razor Discord and Mumble.
Click on Services on the left hand side, or use this link
¶ 2.1 Mumble
Please register to our voice service mumble. We encourage everyone to be on comms when online in the game.
This makes home defence much easier to coordinate if people are on comms.
Mumble can be downloaded from here:
Click on the orange check for mumble registration
You will see your Username what is likely in form of your_eve_name, remember this, copy the password into your clipboard (ctrl+c)
Start mumble:
Click on Server -> “Connect” -> “Add New…”
Address: auth.razor-alliance.space
Port: 64738
Username: your_eve_name
Label: Razor Alliance
And press okay.
Next, connect to the new created server.
It will ask you for your password.
Paste in your password.
¶ Whisper key in mumble
It is a good I idea to set up a whisper key, with a whisper key you are only be able to speak in your local channel. For large Fleets, whisper key is mandatory to prevent to speak over the FC and into the wrong channels.
You must make a shortcut to do this; go to Configure -> Settings -> Shortcuts and click "Add." A new entry will be displayed. Under the function field, double click your entry and scroll down to "Whisper." Now double click the "Data" field and then click "..."
A window will pop up where you can select what type of whisper you want: User or Channel.
¶ 2.2 Discord
Next register to our Discord Server.
Head back to the service page and click on the Discord service.
You will be redirected to the Discord website, login with your discord details and
the Razor discord should be automatically added to your discord server list.
¶ 3. Groups
To prevent that all members, have access to all activity/information in the alliance, we have different groups in our authentication system to allow access to certain channels in discord and mumble.
You can request access to a group, but the access needs to be granted by a CEO or member of the Troika.
Normal line members don’t need to register to any groups, but you're more than welcome to join our Mining or Industrial group if you want.
Also Capital pilots should register to the Capital group.
Other interesting groups are “Raining Goats” for Black-ops or “Scout Team” for scouting activities.
If you are a CEO or a Director of your Corp, you need to register for the group “Alliance CEO” or “Alliance Director”
¶ 4. Corp Audit (Only for Corp CEO or Director's)
Each Corp in Razor needs to be registered in our Audit system for Tax purposes.
Only a CEO or a Director can do this step and can only be done once you have been accepted in the Alliance CEO or Alliance Director group (see point 3).
Once you have been accepted, please click again on the Login button.
